Week 2: Gratitude

Ah, gratitude. It’s that thing we know we should practice but often forget about until we’re standing in line at Starbucks, realizing someone just bought our coffee. This week, we’re taking gratitude from a nice idea to an intentional practice.

Your bonus challenge this week: Send a daily gratitude text. Not a “k thanks” but a real, heartfelt message to someone you appreciate. Maybe it’s a friend, a coworker, or even your yoga teacher 😉.

Why This Matters:

Gratitude shifts your mindset. Instead of focusing on what’s stressful, annoying, or “not enough,” it gently nudges you to notice what is good. And here’s the best part—it’s contagious. Your text might just be the thing that turns someone’s whole day around.

How to Do It:

  1. Each day, think of someone who has made a positive impact on your life.
  2. Send them a quick text, voice note, or even an old-school handwritten card if you’re feeling fancy.
  3. That’s it. No strings attached, just a moment of genuine connection.
